Express Flow is a dynamic yang style class that strengthens and invigorates the body and mind. The class is designed to be an efficient and effective use of time to give you a fluid sequence of poses that targets the entire body while continuing to prioritize breathwork and alignment. It is perfect for those who want to fit in a full body flow without committing to a 60 minute class. More time to climb! This class is open to all levels.

This is a slow-paced class that includes wide variety gentle and targeted stretches to improve flexibility, release tension, and promote overall well-being. Perfect for climbers looking to recover from intense climbs or simply seeking a mindful practice. This session will help you restore balance, enhance your range of motion, and support your climbing goals. All levels are welcome.

Dive into a high-energy Power Yoga session designed for those with a solid foundation in yoga and a desire to push their limits. This class blends vigorous physical activity with deep, mindful breathing to elevate both strength and flexibility.

Yoga for Climbers is a class specifically designed to improve your flexibility, focus, breath awareness, and strength on the wall. You will be guided through a series of poses with the intention of helping you build stability and reduce the risk of injury in your climbing endeavors.

Vin-yin combines 20 minutes of faster paced movement to warm up the body with 40 minutes of deep stretches with long holds, deep breathing, and a relaxing pace. You can expect the beginning of the class to be challenging and focused on core stability and alignment in common standing poses and the second part of the class to have an emphasis on hip and back mobility. This class offers lots of modifications and is suitable for all levels.

Core Flow is designed to strengthen and engage core muscles while combining traditional yoga movements in a dynamic flow. After this 45 minute class you can expect to feel more centered with a stronger core and relaxed from deep mindful stretches. This class is open to all levels - modifications will be provided.

Gentle Yoga is geared specifically for those who are interested in a gentle practice. This class incorporates simple flowing sequences to warm up the body, as well as slower paced movements focusing on alignment, strength, balance, and flexibility. All levels, including beginners, are welcome. Yoga Mats, Blocks, and Bolsters are available for use.

I’ve been teaching since 2018 at Peak Experiences as well as many other studios in the area. My classes are open to all interested in yoga from the first timer to the more advanced yogi. My classes are a free flow focusing on the practitioner getting what they need from the class, rather than just following the instruction of a teacher. I also have an extensive background in hand balance and inversions, offering classes that are specific to gaining a better understanding of all aspects of balancing on the hands. This balance realm encompasses traditional yoga inversions as well as more advanced handstand specific movements, while also trying to blend the worlds of both to create interesting and creative inversions.

Hi everyone, I have studied various forms of yoga for over eight years. I started with Ashtanga and then moved to Rocket. I love arm balances and inversions as well. When I am doing yoga, it helps me be more present in the moment. Not sure if I found yoga or yoga found me.

Yoga is such a huge part of my life. Asana, meditation, and breath work are essential for how I navigate adventures and challenges of life. I had practiced yoga for almost 20 years on and off, and in 2023 decided to take part in my first but definitely not the last yoga teacher training. The experience was truly one of the most valuable things I've ever done.
The path and evolution of my experience practicing and teaching has helped me forge strong connections to community, my inner universe, and spirit. Teaching at Peak has been such a fun experience. Hi everyone! I recently relocated to the Richmond area from Rincon, Puerto Rico, where much of my teaching experience took place outdoors on the sand and under the sun. My classes focus on slowing down, reconnecting with yourself, and finding stillness amidst the demands of daily life. I strive to create an accessible space where students can honor their individual needs and move at their own pace. My hope is that you leave each class feeling grounded, refreshed, and restored.

RACHEL
As a longtime climber and yogi, I practice on the floor what is not working on the wall. I am excited to instruct yoga that helps students build end-range strength and good vibes. We will use vinyasa flow (connected movement and breath) with emphasis on alignment and muscle engagement (Iyengar method-influenced). A climber needs a strong body to stay on the wall, and a calm and focused mind to stay confident through difficult challenges, both on and off the wall!
