2025 Wrapped
Press play on our summer…
Every summer at Passages feels unforgettable—but 2025? That one deserves a replay.
From record-breaking numbers to big adventure moments and even bigger heart, here’s our official Passages Camp 2025 Wrapped.
🌟 By the Numbers
In 2025, 755 campers joined us for a summer full of growth, courage, and connection. Even more meaningful, 31 campers attended on full scholarship—the highest number in Passages history. These numbers represent more than stats. They represent access, opportunity, and a community that shows up for each other.
🏕️ Camp Sessions We Ran on Repeat
This summer, we offered nine total sessions, each with its own rhythm, challenges, and stories. For nine weeks, Rock & River and Base Camp brought campers back to the rocks and the river again and again. Advanced Climb ran for four weeks, while Fat Tire rolled through three weeks of trail and teamwork. Advanced Kayak pushed limits over two intense weeks, The Blast lived up to its name across two high-energy sessions, and Summit wrapped it all up with one truly epic week at the top.
Every session brought new friendships, new confidence, and memories that will last far beyond summer.
🧡 The People Who Made It Happen
None of this would have been possible without our incredible team. This summer, 72 staff members poured their energy, care, and passion into making camp what it is. Even more exciting, 60 of those staff members will be returning in 2026. That kind of commitment speaks volumes about the community we’re building together.
🏔️ Summit Era Highlights
2025 marked Year Two of Summit Camp, and it continues to be something truly special. Looking ahead, 12 Summit campers from the past two summers will be offered jobs for Summer 2026. It’s a powerful continuation of the cycle of leadership, mentorship, and growth that defines Passages.
⚡ Adventure Stats That Go Hard
Adventure was everywhere this summer. More than 1,200 people flew down our zipline, while 18 trips tackled the Upper James River and over 300 campers conquered its rapids. The Lower James saw 15 runs, and 10 campers took on Hollywood Rapid—one advanced kayaker even ran it multiple times. On the rock side, more than 40 climbers completed the 60-foot rappel at Manchester Wall.
Bravery showed up in big ways this year, and we witnessed it every single day.
🎶 On Repeat All Summer
Music fuels camp life, and this summer we logged 3,634 minutes of the Victorious soundtrack. A special shoutout goes to Arden and OG for curating an elite playlist that kept the vibes strong from morning check-in to evening wrap-up.
🚀 Level-Up Moments
Growth took center stage this summer as 68 campers passed Level 3 in either kayaking or climbing, officially qualifying them for Advanced Camps in 2026. Watching campers step into their confidence and rise to new challenges never gets old.
💭 The Part That Always Gets Us
We spent 44 days together at camp this summer—44 days of river mornings, chalky hands, camp songs, big wins, brave moments, and friendships that stuck.
And that also means there were 321 days this year when we found ourselves wishing we were back at camp. Back on the rocks. Back on the river. Back with you.
And honestly? That just means Passages isn’t something we do.
It’s something we carry with us all year long.
💙 Here’s to 2025
🚀 And counting down the days to 2026.
